If you are interested in the development of DBMv2, subscribe to the dbmv2-devel mailing list by sending mail to dbmv2-devel-request@lists.sourceforge.net with the word 'subscribe' in the body and nothing else. You may visit the SF project mailing list page and subscribe there.

For announcements (new releases, security advisories, etc), subscribe to the dbmv2-announce list by using the same methods above (substitute 'devel' or 'users' with 'announce').

Support is also available in #dbmv2 on FreeNode. I will try to be joined there as amigan.
